You can tame down the harshness or push it up with full distortion. You can choose 4 kinds of saturation. You can choose to saturate mid/side differently.

🤔My opinion:-

It is an extraordinary offering from Ignite Amps.

It has 3 different EQs. It has state of the art analog emulation. It has everything you would want in an EQ like this and it is FREE.

What I love about this EQ is that it is extremely rich sounding and really fun one to  play with.

I have been working with Parametric EQ2 from Fruity Loops for quiet long time where I can get the pristine EQ out of anything and anytime I want.

However, with this EQ, it is not that simple and not that subtle when you use it a bit too much.

It has to be used very minimally with that subtle touch on top of something. It can be any individual instrument, your mix or your master. But since it lacks precision of a parametric EQ and adds its own colour to the incoming signal, you have to use it from a perspective of colouring the signal rather than precision-based EQing it.

I am still experimenting with it and I definitely see myself using it in future productions.

Put it on your master channel and know the spectrum-wide nature of each of the incoming signals. Clean them up and mix them according to your choice.

Once done, see the spectrum-wide behaviour of the complete mix.

This plugin won't be needed at the master level as it would be too late to accommodate any change to the production or the mix.

You can also analyze a reference song and then try to fit in your song on the basis of what you observe.

🤔My opinion:-
This is a must have for anyone interested in maintaining the lufs&dB levels throughout their production until mastering.

Put it on your master channel(FruityLoops) and see that every individual input is at the right level. Again, when they are mixed, they are at the right level. And finally, when mastered, at the right level.

As a practice, the final master will be good just below the -1 to 0 dB and just below the -14LUFS to export track for Spotify.

These are some commonly practiced levels for my songs.

Kick around -10dB.
Bass around -9 to -12dB
Piano around -6 to - 18dB
Vocals around -3dB
etc.

Once the dB levels are checked as 'not crossing these thresolds', then the mixing is done. Then the mastering is done where the final output stands at around -14LUFS irrespective of the dB levels (as it has been taken care of since the beginning.)

This plugin by @youlean.software Youlean is a must have for a professionally produced song.

Oh, I love this plugin. 

However, there is one thing that I would suggest.

Not to use it as a patchwork tool.

Don't think of this plugin as a patchwork plugin for bad vocals.

Practice and practice and go as close as you can get to pitch perfection.

Then, apply this plugin as a smooth envelope. It is very subtle and yet smoothens the vocal like smearing cream on top of a perfect cake. It is not about hiding a bad cake. But baking a perfect cake and then introducing the smoothness of the cream to the cake.

If you use it this way, then it works wonders. If you want to fix a bad vocal then, you may need to get one of the note-by-note fixer plugins to fix your vocals.

If you apply this on a pitch-shifty vocal, it will sound robotic or/and give you the tpain effect.

If you are interested in that sound then you can go for it. If your song wants otherwise, then correct the vocal with practice and then you can use this plugin to bring about the subtle smoothness of an envelope over the vocal where it rarely is different than the incoming vocal signal but is just there.

🤔My opinion:-

Red Rock brings another unique offering. There is an hardware EQ called HLF-3C with unique sonic characteristics. Red Rock reproduces that EQ. It has two cutoffs....one low and one high. Both of them function at 12dB per octave.

I find it to be a remarkable colouring EQ to bring about a coloured cut of the incoming signal rather than the clean uncoloured sound of FLStudio's parametric EQ2.

This EQ can be used in mixing any signal of your choice where you would like to cut something sharply. However, for the same reason, it may not be a go-to choice for mastering where subtlety is king but then who stops at that?

Try it. It is a fun must-have in your arsenal.

What I found unique in this EQ is that the signal does not decay as it does in the original hardware HLF-3C. And that is pretty cool.
